I am a dog lover. When I moved to Las Vegas in 1997 I thought I had died and gone to doggy heaven. I could not believe all the fantastic off-leash parks in my wonderful new home town. Simply put, Las Vegas Dog Parks are the bomb. A dream come true for Sin City dog lovers.

Most of these dog-friendly grassy paradises are divided into sections for different sizes of dogs. Bruiser, the giant Mastiff does not get a chance to trample Princess, the diminutive Miniature Poodle. The dogs can run free, chase balls and Frisbees, and playfully wrestle with each other. Dogs, and owners alike, love the opportunity to congregate, socialize and have fun.

Some Las Vegas Dog Parks for you and your Best Friend

Desert Breeze Dog Park

Location: Spring Mountain and Durango

This is the first Las Vegas Dog Park I ever went to so it holds a special little place in my heart. It is sectioned into three divisions for the large, medium, and small dogs. Two legged attendees have tables and benches to relax while their pooches make new friends and get some exercise.

Centennial Hills Dog Park

This dog-friendly and off-leash park has two areas divided for the large and small furry friends. Many Centennial Hills residents love to congregate here. It is a great place to socialize for both dogs and owners.

Small and large dogs are segregated here. The fenced in area has benches, drinking fountains, trees, and water spigots.

This pun not intended fenced park has two areas for the small and large size dogs.

Buffalo Sports Park

The name says it all. Set your dog free at this designated area provided for your enjoyment.
