The CEO CFO Group networking luncheon speaker for the month of June was Las Vegas resident Byron Georgiou. Georgiou was one of 10 members appointed to the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission in 2009. Byron and his fellow commissioners spent in excess of 18 months investigating the origins of the financial crisis.

Byron directs Georgiou Enterprises, a company with extensive interests throughout Nevada. He is a member of the Board of Directors and lead investor of Xtreme Green. They manufacture an extensive range of electricity-powered vehicles such as ATVs, motorcycles, UTVs, and police mobility vehicles.

He is also the lead investor in the sale and construction of single-family homes in Dayton, Lyon County and D’Andrea Golf Club in Sparks, Washoe County. He serves on the Board of Directors at Aerospace Holdings, a manufacturer of custom parts for the aerospace and defense industries.

He has partnerships in numerous private equity firms that provide growth capital to job-creating businesses. He co-founded and presently serves on the Board of Advisors for Corinthian Capital Group.

Financila Crisis Inquiry CommissionThis Las Vegas networking group meets once a month for senior level executives, entrepreneurs, and influential business men and women of Las Vegas. The June luncheon was held at Morton’s Steakhouse on East Flamingo.

The CEO CFO Group is a member- and sponsor-based networking group that helps the local business community build referrals, relationships, and results. They help develop business with the decision makers of businesses by creating long-lasting relationships. Frank Spady is the group’s CEO and President.
