There are an enormous amount of long-standing Las Vegas conventions. But this Dentist Convention is having its annual session for the 152nd time! The ADA World Marketplace Exhibition is THE place for dentists to network, get continuing education, and learn the latest and greatest of developments in dentistry.
It is all happening in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center from October 10th through the 12th. The ADA House of Delegates will meet from October 10th through the 14th.
Currently over 14,000 ADA members have registered for this annual dentistry exhibition.
Dentist Continuing Education
Monday, October 10th through Thursday October 13th the ADA will be offering continuing education courses. The best and the brightest of leaders research, dental practice, and academics are being brought together by the ADA Annual Session to offer more than 250 courses over four days.
The ADA recommends registering early for the continuing education classes. Early tickets for chosen courses means you can bypass the registration are and go straight to your courses.
2011 ADA Humanitarian Award Recipient Dr. Jeremiah J. Lowney
A very special member of the ADA is being recognized at this year’s Exhibition. Dr. Jeremiah J. Lowney received the 2011 ADA Humanitarian Award and is an inspiration to all. His achievements will be commemorated by the ADA.
Dr. Lowney, for nearly 30 years, has been providing food, shelter, health care, and much more the less fortunate Haiti. Through his efforts hundreds of thousands of Haitians have been helped by the Haitian Health Foundation he founded. He serves, and has brought hope to, around 225,000 Haitians.
Dr. Condoleezza Rice—ADA 2011 Distinguished Speaker
The keynote speaker this year will be the one and only Dr. Condoleezza Rice. The renowned world leader is currently a professor of Political Economy in the Graduate School of Business, Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution. She is also a professor of Political Science at Stanford University and a founding partner of The Rice Hadley Group.
Dr. Rice will be available for a question and answer session following her presentation.
