The Nightclub and Bar Convention Comes to Las Vegas

Registration is now starting for the 2012 Nightclub and Bar Convention & Tradeshow! The convention, which will take place March 12-14th will be hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees.

The convention is said to be a must attend event for anyone in the bar and nightclub industry. It offers bar owners a chance to get together and learn about new products, connect with vendors and suppliers, and meet other professionals in the business.  The event will start off at Caesar’s Palace for the Welcome Kick-Off Party, which will be held from 8-10, followed by an opening night party at XS, one of Vegas’ premiere night clubs.

During the day participants can attend workshops and lectures on everything ranging from “How to Manage Badly Behaving Patrons,” to “Lighting and Effects,” or “Creating a Vibe with Dance Music.”  Wine and beer tastings and a back of the house tour of the Cosmopolitan are also great learning experiences for the NCB attendees.   Key-note speakers include Dr. Peter H. Cressy, President/CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council, and Jon Taffer, Star and Co-Executive Producer of Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue” and President of the Nightclub & Bar Media Group.

Exhibition includes Displays from the Best in the Industry

Nightclub and Bar Convention

The Exhibition, which is the last two days of the Nightclub and Bar Convention, offers an opportunity to not only learn about new products, but for venders to market their products to bar and nightclub owners.  The exhibition will include displays from over 70 different vendors, and 600 suppliers of wines, spirts, beers, games and inventory management systems.  Displays include Arman de Brignac, Bay Tek Games, Axis ATM Systems, and the Coyote Ugly Saloon.    These exhibit booths are useful tools for getting new customers, and retaining their old ones.

After the attendees spend the day learning about cutting edge products, listening to experts in the field, and sampling the newest beverages they can head over to a happy hour at one of the four featured venues for networking with others in the bar and nightclub business.  Happy hour locations include the Sugar Factory, LAVO, Deuce Lounge, and Diablo’s cantina.

NCB Allows the Attendees to get Creative with Cocktails

This year attendees will get the chance to “Shake it Up” on the 2nd day of the convention, and enter the Creative Cocktail Challenge, which has a grand prize of $15,000! The challenge will take place at the Convention Center, and also offers prizes for 2nd and 3rd place, and a special award for “best garnish.”

There seems to be something for everyone at the 2012 Nightclub and Bar Convention. Whether it is learning about the latest in nightclub music, finding the newest trends in inventory management, sampling the best new spirits or meeting others in the business, the NCB has it all, and promises to be a great time!
