Following the success of their show that paid tribute to The Beatles LOVE, Cirque Du Soleil has announced their newest show that will pay homage to the late Michael Jackson. The Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil Immortal tour will arrive in Las Vegas on December 3rd and will remain open until December 27th. Plans to make this a permanent show will occur in 2012.

The Scoop on Michael Jackson’s Immortal Show

The Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil Immortal show will cover a wide span of Michael Jackson’s career and is based on his idea of the Giving Tree. While the cast covers decades of songs; the underlying theme is peace, love and giving. The show was created with over ten choreographers, some who worked with Michael Jackson in the past. This will be Cirque Du Soleil’s largest tour to date, up to four shows a day will be offered in Las Vegas.

Fans of Michael Jackson will appreciate the attention to detail and perfection. Just as Michael Jackson did for his own tours, the show is non-stop entertainment of dancing, music and creativity. Old and new fans will enjoy Jackson’s songs showcased with dizzying acrobats, changing and moving sets, visual tricks and elaborate costumes.

The Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil show uses Jackson’s original choreography and takes it one step further. It moves into an imaginary world, where fantasies and dreams are realized. Cirque Du Soleil, known for their breathtaking acrobats, seamlessly works in Jackson’s signature moves.

Michael Jackson Immortal in Las Vegas

During the tour, it will be showcased in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tickets will range from fifty dollars to two hundred dollars. This indoor arena is able to sit over 12,000 persons; the hotel also offers luxurious rooms for attendees. Mandalay Bay, prior to the show, will host an event for Michael Jackson fans, it will showcase items from the Neverland Ranch and other personal items of the late Michael Jackson.
